Stupendous, Amazing, Wonderful, Incredible.
Even words such as these cannot describe the 12th Annual
Lee Lake Polar Plunge, held February 25th in Cazenovia.
Our sincere gratitude must be extended to everyone who helped make the event a huge success.
We will be donating AT LEAST $24,000 this year.
These donations will bring our 12-year total to over $133,000.

<>First, we must thank our courageous plungers who took the icy dip into Lee Lake
to help raise money for the American Cancer Society and Greater Richland Area Cancer Elimination.
We had 68 registered plungers this year, which is a record.
Also thanks to all those who sponsored a plunger (some sponsoring more than one).

After that we must take time to thank our ice cutters.
Without you guys and that hole in the ice, this wouldn’t happen.
Thanks for standing behind us.

We have to take time to thank Donald Seep who, as usual,
did a great job both in the Legion Hall during the auction and down on the ice introducing our plungers.

Thanks to everyone who attended our auction, purchased food,
bought a t-shirt, a luminary, raffle ticket or perhaps just came to cheer on our plungers.
Thanks also to our many great volunteers who helped make certain everything went smoothly that day.
Thank you to Ron Fruit and WRCO radio for all the coverage leading both leading up to Saturday, and also that day.
We must also say thank you to the following:  Shields Truck and Equipment, Cazenovia EMS, Cazenovia Fire Department,
Wendell’s Snow Plowing , Pat Brueggeman, Jeff Seering, Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Dorow Septic,
Reedsburg Utility and Tommy Lee, Gawronski Signs, Anderson Saw Shop, Vicki Ladika, Cazenovia Turkey Busters,
Fearing’s TV & Appliance, Joe & Diana Odermann, and Robin Landsinger.

We must also thank the following businesses and individuals for their donations.
As items came in that day we tried to make certain they made it onto the master list,
but if we missed you, please accept our apologies and know we truly appreciated your kindness.
